My rate is between $75-125/hr based on the complexity of the project. This is about how much time it would take me to produce a standard “one-pager” (double-spaced and double-sided) in plain language from a pre-written document. I can also write original plain language/easy read documents without source material; these projects generally require additional time for research and drafting. The process of plain language/easy read translation has many factors that traditional translation projects do not, such as adding definitions, providing additional background information, etc.; these factors impact my pricing. I am happy to provide an estimate for your project if you send me an email!

Yes! My rate for real-time consulting services is $100/hr. These meetings can happen over phone, Zoom, or text chat/email, and can include anything from drafting an outline for your project, help breaking down ideas and defining terms, workshopping pre-written text, and more!
